'Findlay' is an independent evangelical church in Maryhill, situated between Glasgow's City Centre and the West End. The church is unusually set behind a row of tenement flats with an entrance off Clarendon Place at St George's Cross. We are a growing church with people coming together to worship from all walks of life. As a church family, we want to be a place where people are warmly welcomed, and find belonging and a place to grow in their faith. One of the strongest aspects of our church ministry is the work in our local community during the week. The tagline of Findlay is "Making God's Love Visible". Through our Community Hub, in partnership with 'The Haven' and 'Bethany Christian Trust', we are reaching out with the love of Jesus, to those in our community who are caught up in addiction, homeless, or just lonely and isolated. We offer support and help to over 100 people each week through our community work, as well as going out on the streets weekly to connect with people in need. We also have a heart to equip people to be disciples of Jesus wherever God has placed them. We value expository teaching, and want Findlay to be a place where people find joy in using their gifts to serve God and others. Students are a valued part of our church family, and our desire is to bless and care for them while they are at university. You would be welcome to join us!
